Chris McCook

Principal
Mr. Chris McCook

Chris McCook earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Georgia Southern University and a Masters/Specialist Degree in Ed. Leadership from Columbus State University. He spent eleven years working in the classroom as well as working with the In School Suspension program at HCHS. Also, during that time Mr. McCook worked with a variety of athletic teams. He spent most of his time as a varsity football coach and the head boy's soccer coach. He is married to Megan McCook, who is a teacher at Lake Joy Primary. They have two children, Ansley and Jackson, who are very proud to be a part of the DEMON family.

You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.
Shelley Holmes

Mrs. Shelley Holmes

Shelley Holmes has been an educator for 20 years.  She grew up in Atlanta, GA, and she is a proud member of the first graduating class of Benjamin E. Mays High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Vanderbilt University. She holds a Master of Science degree in English from Jacksonville State University and Education Specialist degree in Education Leadership from Columbus State University. She spent 10 years at Houston County Career & Technology Center (now the Career Academy). She was selected Teacher of the Year for HCCTC in 2003-04 and 2009-10. She has been an administrator for nine years at Warner Robins High School.  She was previously an Assistant Principal of Discipline/CTAE Supervisor for five years before moving into her role as Assistant Principal of Instruction.  She is married to Darryl Holmes. They have two children, Traci and Darius. She is blessed with a precious granddaughter, Ava.

Denny Maddox

Mr. Denny Maddox

Denny Maddox was born and raised in Warner Robins and is a graduate of Warner Robins High School (1985). He has been an educator and coach for 21 years and has been in the Houston County School System for 20 years. He is proud to return to his alma mater to serve as an Assistant Principal. 

He is married to Tonya Maddox, also a Warner Robins High graduate. They are proud parents of two children, Jake and Maggie.

Roshonda Deshazor-Williams

Dr. Roshonda Deshazor-Williams 

Roshonda Deshazor-Williams better known as "Mrs. D" has been an educator teaching math at Warner Robins High school for 19 years, where she was selected as Teacher of the Year in 2015-2016. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Mathematics Education from Fort Valley State University. She holds a Master of Science in Middle Grade Education also from Fort Valley State University and an Education Specialist in Secondary Education from Georgia Southern University. She is married to Desmond Williams and they have two daughters, Kendra and Monica.
Devonte Butler

Mr. Devonte Butler

Mr. Butler is originally from Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Twiggs County High School, where he played football and baseball. Prior to joining the Demons as an administrator, he was a teacher and coach for six years.  He graduated from Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia, in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education. Coach Butler likes to watch college football and baseball in his spare time. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Butler is married to Taylor Butler, who is also a teacher in the district.  He is excited to join the Demon Family!

Mr. Robert Walker

Mr. Walker graduated from Warner Robins High School,.  He received his undergraduate degree from Middle Georgia State University and a masters degree from Georgia Southern. He is currently working on a doctorate degree at Kennesaw State University. Before becoming an administrator, he taught Social Studies at Warner Robins High.  He is excited to serve all Demons in his new role!
