WRHS Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only National Social Studies Honor Society . We are dedicated to inspiring their interest in social studies, encouraging their pursuit of a challenging, social studies curriculum, and engaging in civic responsibility through a voter drive.

 

National Affiliation: Yes 

 

Membership Requirements: Members must have an overall Social Studies GPA of at least 90% in all their social studies' courses. Students must be in at least the 11th grade to be eligible for membership. 

 

Financial Obligations/Dues: Dues are $25 for initiation, which includes a pin, certificate, and graduation cord, and $10 for subsequent years.

 

Planned Activities: Rho Kappa runs a voter registration drive in the Fall for community service and civic engagement.

 

Student officer positions include: President, Vice President, Program Chair, and Treasurer
